“The elegant and impressive Don Frederico became Champion of the 1999 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing. The eye-catcher completed his stallion performance test as runner-up with the amazing score of 151.67 points in the dressage section. Don Frederico convinces by his excellent rideability and his very good basic gaits, which turns up the heart of all dressage riders. Its seems, that Don Frederico will be one of the most desirable and used stallions of the Celle State Stud.” (Niedersachsisches Landgestut Celle) |

“The powerful, well-muscled San Brasil placed second in the jumping section at the performance test with a convincing 137.91 points. His outstanding jumping qualities had already been noticed during the licensing at Verden 1999, where the bay stallion was honoured with the title “best jumping stallion”. Like the winner of the performance test Le Primeur, the very elastic San Brasil is also a product of the Hanoverian breeding program for show jumpers (PHS). He is bred out of an interesting dam line in regard to performance ability: several very successful show jumping horses descend for this line.” (Niedersachsisches Landgestut Celle) |

Evergreen comes from bloodlines that are the “cor de grave” of versatility. Know for his ability to produce top level jumping horses as well as dressage horses, Eiger I achieved the title of Hanoverian of the Year in 1999 (2 weeks before he passed away). It is not often that a sire is truely capable of producing offspring that reach high levels in both disciplines. Evergreen is a genuine example of this ability. He successfully completed his 11 month performance test in Adelheidsdorf with a final placing of 4th and stood at the State Stud of Celle until he was purchased by Spruce Meadows. In addition to a breeding and competitive jumping career, Evergreen began dressage training at the age of 12 under Olympic rider Charlotte Bredahl and is currently schooling Grand Prix movements. The strong heratibility of versatility undoubtedly decend Evergreen as well as all his offspring. |
